Current 2009 Dealer Pricing

I am currently looking for a new M3 (Interlagos Blue, 6 Speed, Technology Package). I have started to look around, but it looks like I might need to order it.

I am wondering where I should start negotiating. I can determine the dealer invoice, but are there other dealer rebates I should know of? I want to figure out how much the car is going to cost the dealer.

Thoughts?

If you want a good deal you better locate a car on the lot. No dealer is going to order a car at invoice IMO; that'd be charity. I could be wrong, but you'll ALWAYS get a better deal on a car in inventory. Good luck man.

That is what I was thinking. However, finding the correct car is important to me.

I agree. Check out this thread for more info.

I ordered my M3 from David about three weeks ago. It's finished production and is awaiting transport to cross the pond.

Not always true...I ordered my 2009 X5 48i and got a great deal...same deal as if I bought one of the 15 X5s they had on the lot.

But I agree, MOST of the time you can get a better deal if the car you want is on their lot.

I emailed David.

I am a little confused on the details. Are his prices "invoice" like I would see on Edmunds? What does European Delivery mean? I would like to pick it up within a couple hundred miles of Chicago.

Insight?

Incorrect. I ordered my '09 e90 m3 about a moth ago for $56K out the door. The MSRP on BMWUSA was $56,625 + ttl + gg tax.

I ordered mine below invoice, and I negotiated hard to get it.

I contacted David also, and I got a better price from one of my local dealers. I made 3 of my local BMW dealers compete against one another.
