Leather restore? Steering wheel/ shift knob/ bolsters

Hi all i picked up a 2015 and the car is in superb condition apart from a couple of high traffic areas. The steering wheel/ shift knob and seat side bolsters have got a decent amount of wear on them. The car has 45k miles, im not sure if this kind of wear is avoidable in the future. I was looking at wrapping the wheel in a "cs" type of alcantara and replacing the knob, but thats the much more expensive option. Replacement knob new is $270ish and the cs style cover from mode is $200. If anyone has used some kind of dye and sealer to bring these back to life and give them that oem matte finish i'd prefer to go that route. Have a 2012 x3 and 2006 z4m that could use the same treatment as well. Heres a link to someone who restored theirs, it looks pretty good in the video but was wondering if anyone else can vouch for the product or one they like. Thanks.

I used leatherique over the summer on mine. Thankfully it was in fairy good condition beforehand, so didn't do much for making it look different. It did improve the feel of the leather parts, just had some more squish and movement to it. And definitely cleaned it up more. Here shows the before and after

I haven’t used it but i looked into this as well and found colourlock. It looked good to me and seemed to have good reviews

Ive got leatherique as well. I liked the matt finish, but my leather in the steering wheel and shift knob are wearing away so i'll need to sand it smooth and re-dye them. My seat bolsters have some small cracking so i might need something to fill those gaps before dying. I'll snap pics tomorrow and add them while trying to contact colour lock to see what products they recommend

Does anyone know the correct color code to use for our black leather from colourlock? Maybe the anthrazit?

Great product, would definitely recommend it.
If I remember correctly, you can email them your color and they will tell you what the matching dye is.
My bottle just says BMW Black, but I know I reached out to them first before ordering but that was a few years ago.
