Urgent need of assist with M3 Manual transmission

Is the auto rev match function not a standard feature in the non-comp M3 manual? I bought mine and found that the rev match function wasn't accessible, even after enabling it through BM3. I could use some expert assistance on this matter. Thankyou

I'm no expert, but I did have a 2016 non-comp before. Auto rev match was on for Eco and Sport. For sport+, autorev was off.

I hope that helps, but someone else will have to chime in for more help.

I think the standard is rev match in everything (eco, sport, sport+) unless DSC is fully off.

My 2015 auto-revs in Eco and Sport. In Sport+ it does not function. I'm not sure why that is because it's a great feature.

cotmfk is correct, although some later cars (2019? 2020?) supposedly auto revmatched in all modes. What year is yours?

If yours is an earlier model like my 2016 (which autorevmatches in all modes despite the fact that this is not how it’s supposed to be…I have raised this with the dealer to no effect), you might try my trick to turn off auto revmatch:

Press start button once (do not depress clutch pedal)
After a few seconds, select sport +
Then depress clutch pedal and press start

Revmatch will now be off. In my case it’s now off in ALL modes, which is a neat (albeit not standard) feature.

Having A.I. drive your car on the track might be a great, FAST feature but that doesn't mean it's the most fun.

Some of us have spent years/decades perfecting our Heel n Toe, downshift throttle blipping. While having a computer that can do it for you can be really nice and even fun at times, having the option to turn it off and throwing that leg right for a monster blip is also a really nice option.

I disabled mine through Bimmercode and not BM3 I think, so if the previous owner did the same you have no backup to restore from. Contact kubax86

My 2018 M3 is this way too.

2015 F80 chiming in. Rev match in every setting except Sport +. Disabled it completely with MHD.

Thank you all for the help, however after playing through bootmod3 I still have no luck on getting the rev match on even after putting on stock file, should I check the gearbox itself?

you guys are complaining about wanting to turn on rev match, i've been trying to turn it off on my 2016 manual transmission F80... haha
in Efficient mode, it doesn't rev match, but it does do it in Sports and Sports Plus - it takes the fun away from the driver if the car does everything..

Your car does not rev match in Sports Plus unless you've had something tuned. It only rev matches in Efficient and Sport modes.

Rev match is terrible. I rolled in Sport + at all times when I had my 6MT F82s so it was turned off.
