New M Member, but not new to this scene

Hey guys, last week I picked up a 2017 M3 with 32k on the clock for a great corona virus special. I have now been through the 328-335-M3 family tree and can appreciate each car for what it is. The car is amazingly spec'd, as it comes with:

Mineral gray metallic
Black extended merino leather
DCT
executive package
Lighting package
Drivers assisted package
Apple car play
And the 19" 437 staggered

I love this car!!! It's way different than my FBO 335 though, and I really want to tune this M3 but I need to still get used to it being RWD and the power delivery.

Enjoy the pics, and I look forward to this new journey!

the power band is totally different, and more linear I would say. Plus, being a rwd car as opposed to my AWD, the backend wobbles a lot. It certainly feels faster. My 335xi PWG dyno'd at 349hp and 406 TQ FWIW

in the process as we speak haha. First mods I think will be spacers, black grilles, side pieces and the M3.

I agree, after a certain age I stopped the very dark tint on my cars except I still do it for my family/wife car as to provide UV protection my kids. But I did install these bmw sunshades to the rear windows of my car, as it did not come with them. Link below with photos in the tread. They get confused for the OEM sunshades all the time, but obviously are fixed and not motorized. They look very classy and installed mostly for my daughter who rides in the back. Just some food for thought and enabling you to buy more mods~

EDIT: didn't notice but your car might already have them on.

Welcome!

Don't forget to get Bimmercode and code out all of the annoying things and code in some features that are disabled like rolling up windows, folding mirrors etc.

New M4 Competition owner

Hi guys,

Considering buying a new M4 Competition. Wondered if there are any gremlins I need to worry about? It's new and will be under warranty.

Thanks,

Beansy

Mineral Grey FTW!
You definitely picked up on the back end wobble when laying power down. Very first thing I noticed.
Enjoy!
