Increased Steering Effort Warning!!??
Driving to work this morning, I got a strange warning that popped up. Increased steering effort. Nothing seems to be wrong with the car, but the light keeps popping back up again. Clearly a sensor or something? Anybody have any insight or experience with this?

I'd go and get it checked at the service ASAP because I had the same warning a couple of years back in my 535 and I ignored it a couple of times as nothing seemed out of place. Then all of a sudden, the steering got so heavy that it took a real effort to make any moves with the car. It felt like driving an old WW2 truck with no power steering and a flat front tire! But I was lucky that I was close to the dealer and they fixed it.
