E88 and E82 trunk?
I have been looking for a trunk spoiler and every time I find one I like with good reviews and a good price, its only for an E82. I just found another one with a great price and reviews again (same deal, E82 only). What's the deference between an E82 (coupe) and an E88 (convertible)?

Park them next to each other and see. The E88 trunk ie flatter. Also the back corners of it don't bend upwards like the on the E82.
I still don't understand why they're different, but they are. |

What's amazing is it looks like many sellers on ebay do not know a E88 is a convertible because much of the spoilers are listed as E82 / E88. Then in the description they state it will not fit the cabriolet or convertible, frustrating.. Unless I'm wrong..

I wonder if anyone has ever put a E82 trunk on a E88? Would look quiet good I think. Would have to retrofit the antenna onto it however.

I threw a E82 spoiler on an E88. It turned out okay. The fit isn't perfect. There is a bit of gap on the underside, but it isn't really noticeable unless you really look under there. The corners lift a bit depending on how much you try to push it against the back of the trunk. If you give it some space the corners will rest nicely.
