Spied: BMW M8 Gran Coupe (F93)!
BIMMERPOST NEWS Spied: BMW M8 Gran Coupe (F93) Prototype! We've seen the M850i Gran Coupe in testing, but never the M8 prototype, until now! Captured by our spies this week is this first M8 Gran Coupe (F93) prototype. The prototype features ceramic brakes and looks to be painted in Marina Bay Blue underneath the camouflage. Like the M8 Coupe and Convertible, the F93 M8 Gran Coupe will be powered by the same S63 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 as the F90 M5, though it may receive a very small power bump over the M5. The M8 Gran Coupe is likely to begin production in 2020 (following the M8 Coupe and Convertible's debut in 2019). Updated April 19, 2019 with latest video from Nurburgring testing Latest sighting at the Nurburgring. Updated February 13, 2019 with newest spy pics.

After sitting in the huge 8 Series, this is the only size that makes sense for the average consumer.
If you have not sat in in the 8 Series or have not actually been inside it. There is absolutely NO legroom in the rear whatsoever! The only thing you can put in the back is your cat or dog on the seat or bags of some kind. The 8 Series was designed from the racetrack to the street. Not the other way around which is typicality how BMW designs their vehicles. The 8 Series Grand Coupe will be an excellent choice to compete with Porsche monster of a car. |

Doesn't look as sleek as the previous M6 GC iteration...
Looks too much like a Panamera mixed with a Lexus from some angles |

The 2nd photo of the rear quarter view looks like a Bentley Continental GT regarding the rear roof line. Prefer the 8 coupe rear drop, GC is blah.

I really don't like the direction they're taking with the hofmeister kink.
I just saw an X4 and it just doesn't work. It looks like the 8 GC is going in the same direction. I think is one of the characteristics that BMW should respect in their new designs. |

Why can't the 4 series have a better profile like the 8? Looks good!

Because people who can afford the 8 series don't want a 4 series resembling it. Kind of where Merc messed up with their C,E, & S all looking the same at one point of time. Still do a little.

God. BMWs new tail lights are fucking horrendous. The tail lights have always been distinctly BMW, making them an identifying fator on the car. You know, when youre coming up behind a Bimmer, just off the taillights. not anymore. these new taillights are so,unoriginal and basic its pathetic. literally every new BMW i see at night my first thought is that its a lexus. Idk,how BMW managed to go from making distinctive vehicles, to cars that are always mistaken for something else in the matter of like 2 years. this entire new generation of BMWs is spectacularly ugly. Heres hoping my F80 can last until the next next gen,M3 to come out, cause I wont be caught dead in a G20/80
