If I got them to 115K I would go that route. It would take me 2+ years in that to match the miles that are already on the 2020.

Might end up eating more in depreciation, but hey they are 100K+ cars. Thats inevitable. Thanks for all your help

Yep you have the right mentality, enjoy the damn car... if all we did was worry about depreciation we would never buy these cars.

Granted pricing questions and values are absolutely imperative but the truth is, the 8 is a depreciating asset and ever moreso than other M cars because of the demand or lack of it, pricing, and other factors like production and bad lease payments.

I'd wait another month or two if you can….prices are coming down and I think dealers are going to start reducing prices even more end of year.

I see lots of used cars in these price ranges (100-130k) have reduced a good $15-20k in the last 4-5 months. They've been sitting.

Make sure you do a car fax as well.
Good luck and enjoy.

How in the hell did you manage to get an allocation for this car???
Down here (Miami), it is impossible. Man enjoy the crap out of it, and when ready to rid of it, shoot me a note.

Sorry cant make it look better than it was, I paid extra for it but not excessive.

Ive bought 4 Turbo S's from this store so the GM called me and said "Ive got this car coming in tomorrow and do you want it for a slight ADM?"...

I said yes with no stutter.

Lower miles does not automatically mean it’s been looked after better than a higher miles car.

The silver one with 1373 miles might be a demo car so who knows how it has been treated?

It all comes back to the same point - Condition is everything.

The only way to decide is to inspect and drive.

If I could get a relatively good deal on a 26000 mile car and I was intending to keep it for a long time it would look attractive, particularly as I only do around 8000 miles per year.

Wow. I'd have loved to have heard those words from my Porsche dealer of 25 years.

Ha I used to get smoke show deals on Pcars--- I got my 2016 Turbo S for 35k off msrp. And in March of 2020 (Covid start) they offered me a new 992 C4S at 10% off; they werent moving cars. But then the factory shutdowns and the production went below demand and poof life went whacky even on non GT cars.

I have had only one GT3 in my life and I got that at sticker back in 2015 and it was just an inbound car but that ship has sailed so far I cant even see the ripple.

There is correction going on but the over correction up was so great that the perceived correction down is still partial. One can not just walk into a P car dealer and find a new GT3 on the ground at msrp.
