it's an oldie but goodie imo. also, ignore the date and time as i didn't feel like taking a new picture of the watch i'm wearing today since i already had one available.

I really don't see the correlation of watches and cars. I know guys who have Rolex Daytonas and drive a 10 year old Honda Accord. The two hobbies are totally unrelated.

I feel similarly, but not 100%.
There are many people in my community/friend circle who have over $100k in watches and drive Camrys, Altimas, etc.
But this is a cool thread nonetheless, and I am finding it enjoyable

I don't see why that wouldn't be the case. You may be into cars but not into watches. They see the car not as a display of wealth but a fun toy they can take to the track.

Many a 911 GT3 owner I run into at the track wear nothing on their wrist or maybe a Casio G-shock or similar digital watch.

I had to Google "oulm watch". Cannot unsee.

I am coming from a Mustang and spent a lot of time searching for the perfect watch that embodies what a Mustang is -- inexpensive, American, mechanical, simple, retro/classic looks but still modern. I never found that watch and now my Mustang is gone. The closest I felt was the Bulova Gemini line.

So maybe I read too much into it but I see correlation between cars - watches - music.
At least for enthusiasts.
