For some bloody reason all the reasonable x5's are £35k+ £££. Gas @ £1.29 ///M doesn't make sense for 2.5 tonne lump of metal and plastic.

Quick update:
Finally got it, carbon black, 7 seat, pan roof, dual tone black beige interior, comfort access, high beam assist, adaptive headlight, active cruise control with stop&g (acc2), 4 zone climate control, individual audio.

Now retrofit starts

a) Lane departure warning + heated steering wheel
b) HUD
... and more.

Lane departure warning is a waste of space. I don't think you can retro fit it because you have full beam assist camera in its place.

Think thats easiest retrofit whichi can be done if you have FLA. In E70 LDW, FLA and Speed Limit Info all uses simply one camera. So camera and ecu is already in place, just a replacement steering wheel and coding to enable it all.

Look at Afsar's retrofit list to his 535D, he's a beast!

Surely lane departure is an annoyance anybody would rather not have.

Too many beeps and warning lights as it is

Plus we have cat's eyes in this country, the only place without them that you would be departing from your lane is the side of a cliff

A note to those audio retrofitters: This X5 has Individual Audio setup from BMW, top-end OEM you can buy. I found it quite inferior to my retrofitted audio setup. Clarify is lacking, sound is boomy, stage is okay but not that good and its bloody pricey. Agree my retrofit wasn't cheap either but in the end result is much better and satisfying.

Thought will let you guys know if someone is after new car don't make a decision based upon stock audio setup. You can always upgrade it (I am not planning though, this time).

No it was from factory. It's not easy to retrofit specially acc2 due to calibration crap. I have heard many success story in retrofit world but one of my friend tried it and it failed due to calibration issue. We are still working on it to get it sorted.
