Newbie Australia
Hi all, thought I would take a minute to introduce myself and my cars. I am about to take delivery of an AW Sportline with adaptive M, xenons, sunroof and a couple of other options. This is my 5th Beemer but my recent cars have been a C Class Merc and until I could stand the harshness no longer an Audi S3. My weekend toy is a Maserati Gransport and family utility an Audi Q5. I was so impressed with the 328i v another Merc or Audi the decision was easy....now to customize a bit!!

Hi there, it's black with red highlights. Car is still in lockup so another week orso before I pick her up but with some great assistance from Kightsabers on this forum some Carbon Fiber trim pieces are winging their way to me already! I am thinking about changing the wheel colors to graphite and leaving the edge of the rim silver same look as on the AMG C63 which I think looks super smart on the white car.

Should have mentioned two others in the stable...Hyundai Getz and Hyundai i20....technical owner and funder....if you have kids then you understand how that works.
Thanks for the welcome, I am finding this forum very friendly and helpful. Cheers |

Nice, love Maserati's, especially the exhaust note and engine. The emboss emblem in the leather looks great. The quality is amazing, the trim and dash decked out in leather.
How much did it cost to get it from the UK ?

I have had it for two years so the AUD was about 61P when I bought and the UK luxury car market pretty wrecked. I paid 28,000 GBP for the car and with shipping compliance etc I had it registered on the road for just under 70,000. Pretty good when you think they were just under 300,000 new. Good news bars news, the AUD is weaker and the car market has recovered a bit but the good news is quite a few people imported this car so you can pick up a good one here for about the 70,000 it ended up costing me. When I imported the cars for sale locally were between 90,000 and 100,000. Its an awful lot of motor car for 70,000. 400 BHP stated although the ones we have had on a dyno ( I helped a couple of friends import the same car) have all shown closer to 425. As you say a fantastic sounding car and lovely to drive.
