Hardwire V1
Does anyone know which wire to tap into to hardwire a radar detector? In previous BMW's Ive used the green/white wire in the dome light by the sunroof switch.

Which Wire?
I would also like to know if anyone has found a good wire to tap? Also, I have found that my Valentine works great with my X5 (green/yellow wire was easy to find) that does not have HUD, active cruise control, etc. , but does not work well with my 5/F10 that has these options - lot of falses. Has anyone had better luck with an Escort model with HUD, active cruise control, etc.? Cheers.

Green wire with Brown stripe in a bundle just forward of the silver sunroof motor. The bundle heads towards the rearview mirror.
There is a really good DIY (Hat tip to Bimmerfest member "sep23") for the entire job right here: F10 Radar Detector Hard-wire DIY from sep23 @ Bimmerfest Forums I'll get around to this myself soon.
