She's 1 month old and I've had it!
Popped my 2nd RFT this morning on 267E...one of the smoothest roads in NoVA. I'm taking it to Merchants and having Michelin Pilot Sport A/S put on .
Now, to figure out something in case of a flat. Mobility Kit? Space saver spare? Should I simply keep my RFT 225/40/18 and throw it on a rim for a spare? Thanks...just venting. Manny |

How you popped it? Did it hit a nail or something?
I always keep a standard tire repairing kit in my trunk. It is pretty easy to bluck up nail hole without the need to swap into a spare. Quote:

No idea. All I heard was a loud pop and what seemed like something hitting my inner fender. It's very low on air...dealer is going to top it off and hopefully I can get it 12miles down the road to Merchants.

Sounds like bad luck to me.. I've had my General UHPs on for the last year and a half.. no problems.. less tires going bald in the back.

Thanks everyone. It's having Michelin Pilot Sport A/S installed today/tomorrow. I'm going to order the spare and already have the mobility kit.
I'm thinking of keeping one 225/40 to use as a full size spare should I need it on a long trip...thoughts? Figured it would front and back easily. |

Do the sealant kits gunk up the TPMS sensors?

Car is doing much better now...love the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus and added the e60 spare kit. Also, just had the HPFP replaced this morning...could tell she was going bad.
