North East transmission recommendations

My 2016 F31 BMW 335d x-drive (50k miles) has developed a very slow oil leak but no change in the way it drives at all - no acceleration hesitations, missed gears or strange noises. I’ve had it up on a friend’s ramp and it appears to be coming from where the transfer box meets the gearbox (see attached pic).

Could it be just a seal or something more sinister?

Does anyone have any recommendations for garages in the North East, ideally near Durham, that could diagnose this?

Thanks in advance

Looks like it could be just a weep from the plastic sump pan, which are known to warp sometimes could try to tighten the rear sump bolts to 10nm and spray with brake cleaner and wipe clean then check to see if still leaking, the pan bolts are 40 torx if i remenber correctly good luck

Turns out it was the transfer box seal so required removal, rebuilding and resealing. £645+VAT.

Got the gearbox serviced while I was on. £1282 all in.

Austrin were fantastic to deal with
