Brooklyn Grey M2 G87 - PPF Stealth Film Applied

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Had this done as soon as the car arrived last Monday

The level of craftsmanship on the edges is extremely good and the car looks different in the satin (in a good way)

Allthatgleams.co.uk were great to work with and I can certainly recommend them if your in the M25 area of the UK

That looks great! Is there anything you have to do differently for cleaning/detailing?

Gorgeous!

I know there's special care needed with "frozen" paints, is there anything special needed with stealth ppf? I assume not, but not sure. Wash as normal?

Wash as normal but I’ll check

It’s also got Xpel satin ceramic on top

I washed it lightly after the weekend rain etc with hose rinse and a microfibre and it took me about 15 mins

I don’t think I’ll pressure wash it on anything other than the lowest settings and will probably use ph neutral shampoo, sonax and a blower

My F87 used to take me too long to look right and would only look good for a few days

I gotta say the pictures don’t really do it justice. The wife likes the gloss look better which make me think I’ve made the right choice 😀

With the stealth PPF it's pretty much the same as satin paint. Just don't use any shampoo with anything glossy added.

Not paint so it’s not an issue at all

Great looking car.

These pictures close my own debate.
Already have a X3 M40i in BG and was hesitant to get the M2 in the same color. Sticking with BG and will stealth PPF it.

Nice! Brooklyn Grey is my least fav of the colors offered but the black/CF bits contrast well with the satin wrap. Looks good, so good that I’d consider something similar..!

Looks great!

I had my Dravit Grey 760i done with a satin wrap and still can't get over the transformation. I love the look of Dravit on its own, so it threw me at first, but it sure gets a lot of attention.

Not at all. There is some light reflection here unlike primer which is just flat as can be.

I think it looks amazing and seems to be perfectly applied.

I like it better gloss. Gloss hides the lines better, as thats not this car's strong suit

Its more like Satin, and takes on a different look in Sunlight. The metallic flake still sparkles and adds a depth you wouldn’t get from a flat/primer/pure matte finish. Here’s a couple photos specific to that aspect with BSM, and OP’s BG is a metallic paint and likely has similar shine under sunlight:
