what is safe sulphur levels for LL-04 oil?

so my car manuals say use LL-04 oil

but BMW says LL-04 must not be used on gasoline cars outside of EU (due to sulphur content)

before i knew better dealer put LL-01 FE !!!

would like to be educated before next oil change

does anyone know what is the safe sulphur level in fuel that is safe for use of LL-04?

choice of fuel where i am i have narrowed to 2

BP 98 - no ethanol, sulphur 50mg/kg (50ppm) - i think is = 93 gas in USA

something called NPD100 (?95 gas in USA) with N-methyl aniline - i read that fuel has no / little detergent additives and their octane booster causes high amounts of soot. sulphur 6mg/kg (6ppm)

10-15ppm is safe level. I really don’t know what is sulphur level in Australia. Is Australia we are talking about here?

New Zealand. BP98 says "guaranteed less than 50ppm"

So I guess LL-01 then. Hope they have a non FE version during my warranty period.

50ppm? That is bit high. Do you know what VW or MB use there?

I see Mobil1 only recommending 0W40FS for VW. That means that suphur is too high for Low-SAPS oils.
