Oil Change Price

Please don't crucify me, but what, on average, are all of you paying for an oil change for an M340i from a good mechanic (not a dealer) using genuine BMW oil and filter? I got quoted $220.

Dude you’re getting ripped off, I pay $100 to my mechanic and he uses Motul oil, most dealers charge $110-120

$220 is expensive for Florida. I reached out to my SA at the local BMW dealer & he said $150 + tax for M340i and this is in California where prices are significantly higher for anything.

You can start calling some of these shops & get quotes, if you don't want to go to a dealer.

Dealers often have coupons / specials for oil so it’s not much more than independent shops. I just make sure that I go to a dealer that uses 0W-30 not 0W-20.
