Eibach Pro Kit Clunking

Just had the shop install some Eibach springs on my G42 and I noticed there's a clunking noise when I drive over my bump or crack in the road. Is this normal? Should I see if the noise goes away eventually or is this absolutely not normal?

Literally just had mine fitted today too. No noise from mine so far. Mixed road driving and plenty of speed humps.

Think this is a characteristic of the car. I have a similar thing with the MSS springs.

Moving to Cobra HAS soon.

We have Eibach Pro Kit in stock here and I am going to test that set up too.

I haven't installed suspension yet. However, there is another thread on suspension thumping as an ongoing issue that hasn't seemed to find a resolution yet.

I did a bit a research after seeing this post.

The thump / clunk is now widely reported on stock suspension too. It's an issue with the car, not the springs.

7 page thread on the clunk noise from the rear of the car that also happens with stock suspension. No one, including dealers or BMW, know what is causing the noise despite throwing tons of parts at it.

Found this thread doing research on the clunk noise which is present in my car on stock suspension.

I'm really wanting to install Cobra lowering springs but am worried that BMW will be less likely to troubleshoot the problem and right it off as due to the modifications. I only have ~500 miles on the car.

Super annoying. I was hoping it had something to do with the trunk as mentioned in one of the threads about the noise but none of those troubleshoots worked for me.

Did you get to try both? Which did you prefer?

Giving the Eibach Pro Kit a try as I've only heard good feedback so far and didn't want a drastic drop.
