Question Lowering springs & Downpipe install

Hello All,

I have a 2020 330i and went to get a quote to have HR lowering springs and VRSF Downpipe installed. Seems a bit high for me so thought I get some opinions from you guys.

Downpipe install: $535.00
Front Lowering Spring install: $690.00
Rear Lowering Spring: $255.00

Total with taxes: $1645.81

Current mods I installed:

MST air intake
Jb4 piggy back

Downpipes are usually around there from what I remember. The spring install is a bit high, I paid around $500 for spring install and later at a different shop $500 for coilover install.

To me, these are really high prices. The downpipe takes 30-40 mins to do on a lift, should be less than $150. Springs are a bit more labor intensive so maybe $400-$450 for both front and rear. I'd shop around.

Im in Fort Myers too. I went with Rogue Works, they are mobile. The owner Eli came to my house and did the install in 2hrs. He does a lot of the BMWs in Tampa off the Tampa Bimmer group on Facebook. Paid $450 for a H&R spring install. If you want to go to an actual shop, K9 Motorworks and Level 30 motorworks are excellent places but will cost you double.

Nice, I wouldn't hate having someone due springs or coil install at some point (i've done it on my own with two prior BMW and its a lot). I'm just enjoying my M340i as I got it used in July of this year. Keeping the performance stock as it plenty fun as of now. I have just been doing aesthetic mods until warranty gets closer. I would love to get the car more planted with some springs/ coils in the future
