Oil brands... again. Help with 1st self service

Just got a CPO 2019 330i w/26,000mi on it.

Dealer changed oil in June as part of CPO service. I only put about 3,000mi on it since then, but display says I need oil service in 3000 miles.

6,000 miles seems a bit early, likely the service tech at BMW did not reset counter. Not the first time I have has that happen.

I will do it myself as I have with previous F30, E90.
I know oil was discussed, and Pennzoil recommended.
I see two potential ones at WalMart and on Amazon,

Pennzoil Platinum Euro L 5-30w
Pennzoil Platinum Euro 0-40w

The 'L' carries BMW LL-04 mark. Other does not.

I live in a moderate climate, northern CA and will not be in extreme heat or cold

Recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

I use the 5-30w in my ride with great results.

No worries - I usually purchase mine online since it's easier and saves me the hassle of the craziness in the store

FCP Euro is where I bought my last batch of oil filters. They sell them as a kit with all the necessary washers and o-rings. I've only used them once (bought 5x filter kits), but they were quick, reasonably priced, and quick to fix their mistake when they shorted me one filter.

Amazon since shipping is free. FCP EURO is good as well but you will pay shipping if the dollar amount is under a specific amount.

Got Pennzoil from WalMart. Ended up with other stuff, as their prices are great. Saw some people that I didn't know came out during the daylight. But staff is nice...

Oil Filter, air filter, cabin filters. Mahre (OEM supplier) at Amazon. Prices are similar to other places, and I get free shipping.

For whatever reason, the 5 qt Pennzoil was about $150 at Amazon, like $25 at WalMart.

Moral of the story, double check prices before you assume Amazon is the cheapest.

Thanks to all for assistance.

Have you looked into FCP Euro? They do have a lifetime replacement program where you can send back your dirty oil to them and get a new set for free (all you need to do is to pay for the return shipment) and you can keep doing it again and again. I guess they make their money by consumers buying other products on their website. You can also narrow down the type of oils by selecting your model on their website and can get a kit with oil, filter, and O rings
