Tux Mats and M performance Armrest

For any of those curious what the tux mats and/or Mperformance armrest looks like installed figured I'd share. I adjusted the mats and put some of their clips in to straighten it out and hold it a bit better. That being said I'm really impressed with both the tux mats and the arm rest.

First of what I hope to be a few personalization projects.

I really like that armrest. How long did it take you to install it?

They cover all over the carpeted area in the car besides the stuff directly under the seat...so yeah they're quite big, but very light and easy to move around.

Once I figured out what exactly I had to do, maybe 10-15 minutes. It took more time finding a video that explained what all to do.

Interesting the mat covers the deadpedal eh? Does it feel slippery if wet then?

Seems like an odd choice as the pedals look nice to begin with.

Overall it looks great though, would work well for those of us in rainy / snowy climates.

Very good question I'll have to check that out and get back to you. I really would hope not, or it really defeats a bit of the purpose! I'm with you when I saw it go over the dead pedal I was a little miffed they didn't leave that out, I'm going to guess it's probably because they want to keep as much moisture and debris out as possible?

So in answer to this, nope not slippery at all. In fact it feels just a smidge "tacky"...which I find really nice.

How did you manage to get so much grass in there? Looks like my car if I was lazy and left my golf shoes on after playing 18 in the rain.

Hahaha, just walking through the yard. Will be vacuuming this weekend. It doesn't bother me all that much. The mats seems to be doing a good job of keeping debris from moving anywhere.

Yeah, I was a bit nervous at first not wanting to snap the thin plastic tabs, but was able to find a video (think it was a G80) that was close enough. After watching the video a few times through it took about 10-15 minutes to do, no scratches or anything.

I've ordered this and will be fitting it too, I've found a video aswell, but don't get the car till next year so plenty of time to research, I'm having the matching seat backs too but can't find a video to do that so haven't a clue how to do it.

I'm thinking about wrapping the console trims in Alcantara too

Does the arm rest have a slant on the front or is it perfect rectangle around? I bought one and wanted to make sure. Mine is not a perfect rectangle when looking birds eelye view.
