Portimao flip-flop

I am getting a kind of flip flop effect from the Portimao Blue finish between shade and sun. The shade is a deeper blue and in the sun pops purple. Obviously not a true flip flop, but it is pretty..

First pic you can see it a little at the rear of the hood. Second is more apparent on the A pillar and under the mirror

Agreed. Several people have noticed the purple in my M240i’s paint in certain light.
