San Mateo area window tint recommendation

Anyone has any recommendation for window tint shop around san mateo area? I did some research and found Lion Window Tinting and SS Custom have excellent reviews. Anyone have experience with them? Thanks!

I live in San Mateo and went across the Bay to OC Detailing in Fremont for paint correction, full PPF + ceramic coating and window tint (70 front windshield, 50 front windows, and 20 back). Just picked it up Monday and it looks awesome. Not cheap but very well done. My Tanzanite M3 is briefly shown in their most recent YouTube video pre-work and Joe says the paint is 'wrecked' (lol…I bought it with 5k miles on it already and there were some paints chips and swirls that Joe and team fixed). Hope they feature it in a future video now that it's done. A few quick snaps from my phone on pickup

It's scary how in just 5,000 miles the paint can be trashed, isn't it? Crazy. My car is full STek and Ceramic. Almost the same tint as yours. 70/35/20. DynoFlex on the outer windshield. I went to Genesis for the tint and Detail Maniac for the PPF. Can't go wrong, but I live up in the Sac area. Too far from the bay for you guys.

Yeah it really is crazy. I also think paint color makes a big difference. Before the M3 I had a white Scat Pack Challenger that was my daily driver for 7 years and it was not PPF'd and definitely had some chips but never seemed as bad or noticeable to me compared to this one. I thought a lot about Alpine White for my M3 but decided to go with Tanzanite instead when I found one in LA. Definitely don't want to picture what it might look like in 7 years without PPF!

I went here because they use precut sheets. No razor near the car. Great price and job, but I had them redo 2 windows because of debris.

Yeah they tinted my F80 before and the result was pretty awesome. They only offer 3M films though which has a bit more haze look under the sun. I want to try ceramic tint film this time.

Depends on the film you want, if you want 3M crystalline go to OCD in fremont, if you want formula one stratos go to rocky mountain in livermore. Theres a place in san jose that does huper optik drei that i thought about but since I got the full ppf at ocd i just went with 3M crystalline. All the other brands arent as good last I compared.

This is 70 windshield 40 all around crystalline for reference. I had formula one on my last car.
