Irwindale Speedway has their 1/8 mile strip, they run a drag Thursday nights. https://irwindalespeedway.com/events/

Chuckwalla has a drag this weekend: https://www.motorsportreg.com/events...raceway-299232

I've never been to either of these, drag racing is not really my thing. I prefer road courses. I highly encourage anyone who is a speed junkie to look into HPDE events. You learn A LOT about the capabilities of these cars beyond just straight line speed. It's absolutely a rush exploring these limits. Here's some events coming up:

Adams Motorsports Park hosts Friday night TIME ATTACK twice a month and occasionally a DRIFT NIGHT Saturday nights. I frequent the TIME ATTACK:

You've already seen my video on IG, here's another one with some sunlight so you can actually see the course:

https://www.adamsmotorsportspark.com/racing/drifting/

This Friday Speed District is hosting WILLOW SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY, which is a very fast course. I've reached 135mph on the front straight.
https://speeddistrict.com/events/mar...road-course-2/

Monday March 7th is WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. If you've never been, it's a great weekend to drive up the coast through Big Sur, to Monterey and Laguna Seca. You start with an absolutely beautiful drive, probably the best in CA, then the next day hit a legendary track.

My first time a Laguna, don't judge!

No prob! If you are looking for other special drag events, check out motorsportsreg.org and filter for drag.

So much excellent information here, dude! Thank you. You should make this it's own main post and update it periodically with events you discover. Many would love that. I know I for one, would.
I would love to go back to willow springs and try out laguna seca one day.

Thanks! We do have a G80 Track Section but it doesn't get a lot of traffic and there's not as many G80 owners tracking their cars yet, being relatively new and launched during pandemic etc. Support is still coming out of its infancy with vendors that specialize in high performance parts with regards to tracking due to supply issues. Although I am far from the most qualified bimmerpost member, maybe I'll create a how-to post based on my experience for those who have never tracked before and who might be interested.

That sounds good too man! I could always use some tips. I am still very new to tracking cars.
I was more referring to a post containing updated socal track events you come across! You always seem to know where they're all at! I am definitely going to bring mine out one of these days.
