Anyone else get the wrong color calipers?

I ordered red calipers but received blue. Is BMW gonna try to bone me on switching these out? Anyone ever heard of caliper color being screwed up???

Does your window sticker reflect the wrong color? Could be on the dealer, not BMW.

Sticker has wrong color (maybe because Shadowline option is standard with blue?). My signed Purchase Agreement has a separate line item specifying the optional RED calipers. Hopefully, they'll just man up, admit their screwup, and make it right - LOL!

if you signed for an item that was specifically listed, I highly doubt they can weasel their way out of it.

Thanks, hope you're right - if I succeed with this, maybe I'll go for wireless phone charging! Burp!

If you've signed and it states red , then they have to do something about it, so defiantly fight it and see what can be done.

Let us know how it goes.

Let me know how it goes! I'm in the same boat, when I brought it up over the phone I was basically told to wait and see it and if I'm not satisfied we'll discuss it then…

The dealer actually suggested that I take it to a body shop and have them painted - "we will be happy to reimburse you"!
Sad, and NOT happening...

What if you say you'll decline delivery? Maybe they'll rectify if they get a sense that you won't go through with getting the car?

Best of luck!

Did it come in with blue calipers or does it say it on your bmw garage? The desk manager probably forgot to click that option when building it in the order bank

It arrived with blue - are you thinking (as I am) that the dealership blew it somewhere (and where?)
Not surprisingly, they're not willing to own up to their screwup!

From what I gather from several online reviews is the brakes are not very good. Supposedly even on spirited canyon drives you're getting a lot of pedal travel and lose feel.
Maybe this could be a good opportunity for an aftermarket Brembo system.
Negotiate with the dealer for free installation.

If it comes with the wrong color calipers tell them you don't want it, either they fix it or they order you an new car. They'll have to decide.

They will not swap the calipers. They would need to order another car. There could have been a lack of red calipers at assembly time.

I wonder if this is one of the reasons a car can be stuck at final assembly for so long lol
