The coupe looks better, but I have to admit the GC still does a good job aesthetically

Carwow has become (since a while) a reference for me when checking out any car review. I find his reviews fair and unbiased and he points out relevant details for any type of potential car buyer.
M8 looks amazing and yes THE 8 is allround a very attractive car. Whereas with the F06 model I did prefer the Grand Coupé, this time around with the 8 I do prefer the "shorter" version. |

Of course, looks are entirely subjective and I was not a fan of the stock look either... this is how it should look from the factory in my opinion. |

Then I let 7psi of air out of my (new Michelin) tires (down to 33 psi at ambient 50f) and it made all the difference. The car wanted 40psi square--WTF... concrete! On the M850 being the great all-rounder... I'd probably agree and I only say probably because I don't have enough wheel-time with one. However, I genuinely use the 'M' functionality and wouldn't give up the driving pleasure I derive from it (both road and track) and its configurability given the choice. For someone new to the brand, I suspect the M850 would check all the boxes without any argument. |

Grills are still strange to me, I prefer F-gen grills or G-gen 5 series grills, 8 series coupe proportions are perfect, whereas the 8 GC is a bit odd towards the back... Stunning car nonetheless, but looks are not for me I guess; though can't argue against that performance
