Smile A few pics of my new 2020 M8 Gran Coupe Competition

BIMMERPOST

Hello all!
Here are a few pics of my new M8 GC Comp! (and a pic of the 2 of them together)
I’ve been stalking the M8 GC since they announced the prototype and traded my San Marino Blue M6 GC Comp in for this new M8 beauty this past weekend!
It was a bittersweet moment for sure!
I can honestly say I love(d) both cars, but the M8 is an all new level of luxury performance! The M6 was more raw and visceral, but the 8 is just a high tech ultra luxury rocket ship!
Super excited to get to know this car better after break in!

Thanks everyone!
Hereís a picture of the Taruma Brown interior.
My plan was to test Drive this one and then order exactly what I wanted, but this one fit the bill close enough where I didnít want to wait 12 weeks, and as far as I know, because I was speaking with 3 dealers, this is the first one in S FL!
I did want the CC brakes, but the regular M brakes have plenty of stopping power for sure!

Sorry I donít know why the interior picture loaded up sideways, or how to turn it?

I'm curious as to how many M8 GC comp cars are being made vs 850i GC and how many of each color and interior. It's possible there's no two cars exactly alike though their similar in how they depreciate.

Congratulations on the new toy. The M6GC still holds it's own for sure. I prefer the front fascia of the 6er to the 8.

Both are beautiful cars. BMW did the GC right in the 6 and 8 series.

I saw a 2013 650ix GC with 25k miles for $29k. Seems like a performance bargain. With a tune it can haul ass as it has basically the same engine.

Doesn't the N63 have a few issues?

Yes a quick google search can reveal many horror stories, and its also a 7-year old BMW so take that for what its worth, but in the end, YMMV.

A 640xi is probably the best way to go, BMW inline-6's are typically more reliable in the long-run and something most people don't know is that 6-Series with xDrive actually got hydraulic steering versus the first generation EPS system in non-xDrive models which is horribly numb.
