M Drivers Package/1 day M School
Anybody here attending the M Driver's package event at Spartanburg on May 12? I used a voucher sent to me as part of the M2 purchase. I am psyched for this one!

I did the 2 day M school a few weeks before my M2 arrived. Did mine in Palm Springs. You will love every minute of it. I really have the bug to do the advanced m school now.

You can do a multiple of driver ed courses on local tracks through many local car clubs.
Some call it Driver Education (DE in Porsche speak). For only $285 for a day you get quality instruction and about 2 hours of on track at the speed you are capable of. As you grow more confident you get "promoted" and the fun really begins. You meet great local people, try a variety of tracks and drive your car to learn its limits. Most fun you can have in a car! I've done 80+ days and counting. |

BMWCA Watkins Glen + LimeRock and there is a new track in NH. I am a member of Porsche Club of CT (CVR) and we drive all three and more. But they are Porsche only. Last edited by littleoldman; 03-25-2017 at 10:21 PM.. |

2 Day is not cheap but you get a full day of driving at much higher speeds, and if your in California your on the main Thermal Track in the M3 and M4. I wasn't sure which to do but after doing the 2 day I would say if you can make it work financially its the way to go. You get some nice swag also that you don't get with the 1 day. Having said that if you can only swing the 1 day you will have an absolute blast. Driving their cars all out (at least at your limits) on a great track under controlled circumstances is a great experience. The instructors encourage you to push your limits and improve lap after lap, the skid pad is a blast also. |
