Found some real life photos of the default M-Sport Alcantara seats on mobile.de.

They look gorgeous, I will ask my UK dealer if I can have them. Suspect they will say no you must sit on some manky smelly old cows arse as we have removed the choice for you Brits

They look terrific. I'd consider it strongly along with Nappa. Dont think we're going to get it here in the States though?

I'm not digging that aluminum trim.

To me, it doesn't convey higher end luxury. It's what I'd expect in a 3 or 4. Might just be my own bias though

Based on photos I thought I would dislike same but having sat in the car ( black interior ) thought actually looks ok ( IMHO )

I like that the seats now has more alcantara on the sides of them. And it looks like the arm rest in the center now is leather, and not alcantara as in the F10.

And it will look better without the flash photography.

Nope we do not get them, sucks because I prefer them the best! Not even with Euro Delivery.

One of the first G30 ive seen with the Michelin Primacy 3.

Interesting as its generally rated as a GT tyre (though leaning towards performance) rather than the Goodyear F1 Assymetric 3 that is a Max performance tyre.

Though it seems in 19" if you get the Pirelli tyre its a P7 that is also more of a GT tyre compared to the 20" version that is the P Zero that is a max Performance tyre.

So on 18" and 19" M Sport cars you may or may not get a max performance tyre, but with 20" you always do.

The full vin of the vehicle. I would call but I'm not sure they would give it over the phone.

Just tell them that you are a us solider based in Rammstein and are interested in the car but need to know the VIN before you can decide on the buy

Got the VIN: WBAJC31030G464920 the Seats are called: STOFF RHOMBICLE/ALCAN.ANTHRAZIT (HRAT) Google Translate says: SUBSTANCE RHOMBICLE / ALCAN.ANTHRAZIT (HRAT) which doesn't help. This is the reason I wanted the VIN so I can get those seats for my car when I order it.

i dont think that this "stoff" is offered in the US, leather is standard on the M package there.. here in europe we pay extra for leather, have a look in the german configurator ...

I assume the new M5 will have its own type of seats, so you won't see these in any M5.
I believe the only F10 M5 with any kind of alcantara seats was the 30 Jahre limited edition.
