Love your taste in music bro!
I'm a longtime "house head" and have a collection you'd be proud of. My best friend is also Dallas premier DJ, specializing in House. Check him out: djmichaeljerome.com michaeljeromeinc.com |

I'm a DJ and this new found interest in deep house is kinda interesting. On one hand it's great that new people are listing to it... but what they are listening to isn't the classic deep house in a sense. I heard someone call if "future house' since it combines elements of deep house with EDM.
Anyhow.. listen to this if you like the real stuff: http://www.mixcloud.com/nordictrax/n...mix-june-2014/ |

edit: But also in the same light.... just to throw a spanner in the works (Future garage or chill step or whatever its called) also falls under EDM, so I can understand when one makes reference to EDM... Side note: I like Glass animals, thanks mike. Last edited by Inablur; 10-16-2014 at 04:52 AM.. |

Thanks for the input. If you click the button to the left of the volume on the player, it will show you the tracklist. I love jackin' Chicago house as well. I've been fortunate enough to play with Colette, Mark Farina and DJ Heather numerous times as we bring them in to Vancouver regularly. |

I thought I would dig this thread up. I just released my first EP "Chameleon" on April 1st. If you're into house music, you are no doubt familiar with the legend Johnny Fiasco. He did a slammin' remix for the title track. Support for the release has come from Laurent Garnier, Mark Farina, Luke Solomon, Danny Tenaglia, Sister Bliss, BBC Radio 1 and many more. To promo my release, I did a little dj mix which can be streamed here:

Ain't nothing like Ole' Skool Chicago house music. WBMX and WGCI is what I grew up listening to back in da day. I've got tons of cassette tapes that I'm slowly turning into mp3 files. "Gotta have house music....all night long".............Phil

LOVE chicago house... especially the jackin shit. We bring in Heather and Johnny Fiasco all the time to Vancouver. Even though Mark Farina lives in LA, his east coast style still kills it every gig. Easily 600+ at all the shows.
