GI-Joe, Robotech, Thundercats, and Voltron were all really good. Smurfs was funny.
I have Robotech & Voltron (what is out so far) on DVD, and Transformers (Including the Japanese only cartoons). I would have GI Joe, but it is out of print, they never finished releasing it, and it is hella expensive (maybe after the movie they will re-release it)
Thundercats was ok, as was Silverhawks (although no one seems to remember it).

HE-MAN, well, it was good back then, but it doesn't even have nostaglia value for me anymore.

Smurfs....well....you have to wonder. There was only one female smurf.....

I could go on and on, but I think that is enough of a trip down memory lane for now.

The great thing is all these cartoons are available on DVD
I bought most of them (the ones I watch)

Zelda was bad-ass "Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Princess"

TMNT.. Leo was my favorite

My opinion on Captain Planet was the following:

Fire was the coolest power.. and I always wanted to hook up with the Wind girl.. she was hot

Heart was like the Blue Ranger, no one liked him and no one would want to be him... the toy that probably never sold.
If Captain Planet were alive today, he'd die as soon as they called him out... there is so much pollution.. he's a pansy that dies if he you throw a wrapper on the ground "Oh no... pollution.. can't fight.. Planeteers.... help me"

Oh boy, I must be very old then, because I remember my youngest brother watching those when I was already a teenager. The OP must be 24-28 years old.

My cartoons were:
- Fantastic Four
- Birdman
- Alvin and the chipmunks (the movie is coming!)
- Bugs Bunny
- Tom & Jerry
- The Pink Panther
- Scooby Doo

and many others

Superfriends had a few token female superheroes

Anyone catch Real World - Metropolis, on Robot Chicken?

http://www.vidilife.com/video_play_7..._Metroplis.htm

Have you ever seen Gleep-gleep hook battery jumper cables to Boy Robin's nipples?

Robot Chicken has skewered every cartoon from your childhood.

Yea they are ...way back when my family only had 1 tv my sis and I used to fight over what to watch...lemme just say i hated My lil' Pony and Gem, no matter what else was on if they came on I lost tv control oh care bears and snorkels too umm those are the only girl cartoon I remember...did Barbie make a cartoon??

I used to watch Birdman does anyone remember the name of the family that had a tricerotops with a buncha feet that shot balls out of his horn and a blob named gleep??

I liked Speed racer until I saw Knight Rider...KITT was the shit...I was thinking no matter how violent our cartoons were they always had a PSA announcement afterwards so you always learned something....and sometimes they sounded too funny...listen to Michaelangelo's answer to what he should do when someone offers him pot

The Herculoids

Adventures of Mighty Max, The
Beast Wars
Double Dragon
Gargoyles
Jonny Quest
Mummies Alive
Robotech
Ronin Warriors
Street Sharks
SWAT Kats

I don't remember watching much of Thundercats and the others not listed..
I have a knock off of the full season of Dragon Ball, I want the original but it is too expensive.. I want the full Robotech as well.

Anybody remember a cartoon that came on around 6:00AM on Saturdays, and it was about people in robotic suits that were on teams, and would battle in different arenas. Can't remember the name..

They had a bunch of different teams with different logos and they would battle in different arenas that looked natural. No lasers or anything, they had bullets and etc. IIRC.
I also don't think that they could fly.

Swats Kats were the shit!! Oh man I wanted a motorcycle that came out of the cockpit that was so awesome...I always wondered, there were two guys (T-Bone and Razor) I think but 1 Miss Kitty....who would she end up hooking up with??

Ronin Warriors were cool as hell I wanted one of their suits...same thing goes for Robotech, a motorcycle that turns into a jetpack?? How much more badass can you get??

Ok, I liked Johnny Quest as much as the next guy especially the Quest World shit but there's one thing I NEVER understood:

Hadji is from India. Get gets picked up as a baby and is raised with the Quests in the US. Fine...no problem. WHY DOES HE HAVE AN INDIAN ACCENT????
