The one thing I am jealous of is the remote start.

I was really hoping the first consumer cars would surprise everyone and have galvanized buttons like the 7 and X7. The initial X7 spy photos didn’t have them and the production car does, so I was hoping for the same here. That’s a bit disappointing. Reviews have indicated the interior feels upscale and expensive enough, but based solely on photos it doesn’t look like it has that “ooh aah special” sense of occasion an S-class coupe has. (Inside only - the 8er exterior looks great)

Honestly, what the hell is going on with the rear end of this car? It's an absolute mess. So many creases and lines all over the place.

There really isn't a premium, at least not in Canada.

A 6er similarly spec'd as a 8er is very close in price.

Also depending on region, there may be more 6er trims available so the perception might be the 8er has a significant premium but in Canada, we only get the 650 in Coupe trim and add on m sport and executive package, the 650 is already within $5,000.

As has been repeated here and everywhere else many many times, the 8 is smaller than the 6.
Doesn't look it, rather chubby to me. Don't be offended, you didn't build it

Pretty sure the 8 is shorter and close to the same width as the 6
Then it's an optical illusion, damn it!

All things considered, at this price point, I'd rather get a M5.

I feel like I'm looking at a prev gen accord coupe. And did I see that correctly? $3k for a carbon fiber roof? What's the reason for that on a touring car? Oh, looks....

This is what I see. Well, maybe not squished and stretched. I get that all modern coupes will have some resemblance to each other, but it's hard not to look at that 3/4 front angle shot and not see Mustang.

Only children can sit in the back seat despite the size of this thing. Maybe the gran coupe will be better, just wait a few years and the M8 can be had for 3 series price. Personally would prefer an M4 CS over this.
