Changing brakes and rotors?
Still new to BMW, I have read that only one sensor needs to be replaced when changing brakes. Is this as simple as swapping, or is some kind of coding required to reset it as well? For those that have done brakes, how many miles did you run on your originals ? TIA.

Only need to swap them if they have worn down, they are also plug and play nothing needed.

Replaced mine at 45k with 1-2mm remaining. There are two sensors, one at the front and one at the rear at opposite corners. You will need to either use ISTA to wind back the electronic parking brake or take it off the caliper and wind it back manually with a big torx bit.
