Here's a guy with Carbahn tune and XHp stage 3 . Join this fb group and ask him about it for valid information.
I will add that even though my car is a 2019 the DMEs were locked . Carbahn decent little difference from stock but to me isn't worth much. Mine has been E30 tuned for 1 year. 0 issues and night and day from Carbahn or RC. The first 2.5 gears are conservative to stay safe. Top of 3rd the turbos come alive.

Nice! The 60ft would be better (as would the 0-60, etc.) on a prep'd surface vs. the hard shoulder. Perhaps you could try that again (assuming it's safe to do so and you're not breaking any law since you're clearly in in Mexico or wherever ) and actually launch from the tarmac.

Based on your video, I'd estimate you're losing 0.05 of a second every shift relative to a full-blooded M which accounts for ~0.2 to 0.25 seconds by the time you hit the 1/4 mile--have you considered getting a transmission tune, too (assuming one is offered for the M850)? You'd be down in the low 10s if you could get that ZF to shift more quickly.

I've tried every possible way to launch harder but my tires won't hold after 2k rpm . This was 1800 rpm. On the dragstrip ( Nicely prepped) Still spins with full Launch mode activated but not horrible unless I let it build boost. So within a sec after foot to the floor I release and it's pulled a 1.55 60ft. That was a 10.51 @133 and da that day was 2550 (80 degrees) . My tires are all season so definitely not ideal for hole shots. I just like the pulling power when merging onto highways 😊
It does have a tranny tune but can't tell you other than removing some torque limiters what it really does. First couple shifts I know are kind of slow but seems instant after. Guess the only way to have the M8 trany is to get the M8 ❤️😅

I don't exactly understand your question. An E30 tune is taking a specific amount of E85 and mixing it with 93 octane to come up with an E30 mixture. For example 6 gallons of 93 octane with a 3 gallons of E85 will roughly be your E30 mix. There's an app or apps for this calculation but you also need to know what the E85 measures at because it can be anywhere from e70 to E90. I've had the tune for over a year now and probably put 15,000 miles on it.

Keep in mind , if I just switched tires , I could probably hit a high 10.3 on a dragstrip on the right day. Carbahn will get you no where close to that. But I also am gambling with no engine or driveline warranty. I don't beat on my car much honestly. Only went to the dragstrip once to play just to see a real time on it instead of dragy times. Did do a quick roll yesterday with a Porsche Taycan turbo s from 80. Walked it kind of easily. That was fun.
They were all smiles in that car. 😁
My entire setup was under 2500.00. It was done at Performance Eurowerks in Chicago Illinois.
Love the fact that it would take an extremely fast car to beat me off a redlight. I can hit a 2.9-3.0 0-60 every time.

With Carbahn you won't make enough power to need tires. Yours will not spin. I believe Clarence ran 124 mph ?? He has a decent 60ft to run the 11.1 . A M8 competition more often than not doesn't hit 10.90s and they trap 126 -127 and they most certainly don't do a 2.5 0-60 . If you are really about a much faster car id suggest a real tune not Carbahn generic tune.

Anyone that will put your car on a Dyno, can unlock your Ecus and custom map your car to 93 or even a E30 stage 2 tune like mine. Can't help you with finding someone.

I settled on the RK tunes. Going in a week or two. They do it in house, have results, and are able to modify their own tune whereas some of the other tunes are immutable and the results are a mystery or fall short of what is advertised. The Carbahn tune is shady simply due to them advertising a tune that applies to 2 different Motors. A 2018 m550 is not the same as a 19 or 20 m850i or the 2020 m550i. Something in their marketing doesn't add up and it doesn't seem wise to take a chance on their tune.
