Beautiful!! I always wonder why the M8 has options you can choose that the M5 doesn’t have considering they share almost everything. I’m assuming it’s because it’s supposed to be a “higher” series?

Enjoy every second though!!

Yep but we worked hard to get the car(s) with such an understanding. Its sad because the M8 drives so damn well and really is a great all rounder with luxury to add. Its not as sporty as my G80X nor as nimble but thats not the intent- its just a great GT car.

I get so many compliments about the "uniquness" that the car exudes optically (coupe now, had GC). And when I see one driving coming the other way I think "damn thats a bad mother fucker" all wide and outside

Thankfully we bought em for the intrinsic value.

Edit- I say WE because I know you have one

Not correct. I've had a Frozen Arctic Silver for a little over 10 years and treated it with care similar to any other color. It still looks almost new.

Congratulations, that’s a stunner (although I see the rear number plate has already fallen off… &#129299!

Are there actually any 8 series meets in the UK? Feel like I’m mostly alone here and everyone’s getting together across the pond 😕

That is the key. It doesn't matter whether it is the job/gig one has or a car the intrinsic value of what makes you happy is golden.

That’s not true at all.
I used to have a 2018 First edition M5, frozen red, for 3 years, the paint is acutely quite sturdy and doesn’t need much maintenance, just dont dry your car with microfiber towels (use regular towel) and take it only to touch less carwash.
Also I recommend ceramic coating, that way you just needs to house it after rain.
