2019 1st Edition M850i lease

I am trying to swap out of my lease. I simply need a bigger car. Love this car. 21 months left at $1900/month and 15k miles/year. Matte blue with cream/blue interior. Every option. Inquiries only at bpolsky@mdbonedics.com

Put it on SwapAlease if you haven't already—I've sold maybe 10 leases through them.

That said, I'm not sure how competitive your monthly lease payment is which might be a problem. What was the MSRP?

This will be a tough one...

Many have gotten nicely spec’d M8’s for less.
You may have to consider throwing in a $10-$15k subsidy to make it interesting. Good luck!

Yeah, I was thinking a $400 per month reduction depending upon spec/MSRP would bring it into attractive territory. That's only an $8K incentive but I know most folks find paying to get out of a luxury lease a hard pill to swallow.

Understood. Chances are the launch edition is very desirable and worth the extra $ for those to appreciate the special options.

Quick look at Swapalease shows some M850 coupes for $900 a month w. $6k down negotiable. $120k car and less miles but miles are cheap.
Some others for under $1200.

Just think it's a harder nut to crack with a 2019 when a new 2021 might be cheaper...

Wow, hadn't peaked at SwapAlease recently. Given those numbers, it's gonna require as you said $15K, perhaps more... again, unless the build is desirable for other reasons. First Edition, for me, falls squarely into the "couldn't care less" camp, though.

Since you didn't state the original lease term (24, 36, 39 mos) or current mileage, we don't know if it was recently acquired (FE's were still recently available new) and possibly a 24 mo term, which would help to justify the payment, if not then you will need to subsidize.

Thank you all for the helpful input. Some more info: 130k sticker. 36 month lease, 21 months remaining. The matte blue paint job alone was 10k. It is a stunning car, and I actually really love it. Just impractical for me at the moment. There are a few first edition M850i's like mine on Swapalease for over 2k per month. I also have 16k miles on it, with 29k miles still left.

I wish you luck with your lease transfer.

Unfortunately that lease payment is over M8 pricing

Wishing you luck as if I absolutely did not love my 2020 M850i at $127K sticker and about a $1700 lease payment I'd be in the same boat. The key though is the 2019s came along with sweet deals (including the 1st Edition) so you may have a rough road ahead but too your point if someone appreciates the added uniqueness they may be will to take the deal.
