I think that car is a very poor value for your money. Outrageously expensive, terrible mileage, poor resale, and poor reliability. If you are dead set on a performance SUV, I would wait for the new X5. Shouldn't be too long for the new "M" version to arrive (although it won't be called an "M" -- Mazda has the rights to the M-X name), and it will be a much better deal than the Cayenne Turbo.

get the jeep grand cherroke srt8 a shitload less money and just as fast. 4.6 to sixty. If you do this you can keep the e90 also.

Perhaps the current one, but I'd reserver judgment on the new one until it is out. Plus a Cayenne Turbo, at least in the U.S. , costs considerably more than an X5 4.8is. By the time you add all the options, you could almost buy another E90 with the savings. IT may be better than the current X5, but not by that margin.

it may cost more, but it's faster

stop drinking the kool aid folks

the adjustable suspension alone makes the porsche leaps and bounds ahead of the BMW

I still think the Range Rover Sport is the best looking SUV out there. Don't have the exact specs, but not too bad performance wise either.

where do these idiots come from?

What is the connection between a heavily modded 3 series and a truck?

i dunno i'm not so fond of the cayenne at all... i would rather get the sports car instead of the SUV... i mean if he needs the SUV for day to day purposes... why not go with something less wallet draining and more fuel efficient? i mean i understand its his lifestyle but if he's just buying a car for kicks i'd still recommend the sports car...
