Been having issues with my display key display powering the display briefly when i press on button then going blank so can't access the menu's on it.
Have had it charging and it seems to be not able to hold charge. Nearly got stuck yesterday as it was dead but managed to plug into a usb charger which powered it up and unlocked the car otherwise I would have been stranded!

Going to replace the battery as assume that is the problem that the battery is dead.
Anyone done this? no issues doing?

You can unlock the car with your mobile. Also mine came with a plastic card key you can put in your wallet for emergencies.

I was away from my home

My car is a 2019 build so don't think i can use my mobile or the digital key card as wasn't this only enabled for 2020 on build cars?

There are YouTube videos on how to replace the rechargeable battery on the display key. You can also power down the display key by holding the power button down until prompted, you will also notice a message that tells you the physical buttons (lock,unlock) will still work with the display completely powered off. This will help with battery conservation until you can replace it. Lastly the key card will work on a 2019, I purchased one from the dealership because my pre-owned did not come with one. It was about $60 and you will need your VIN and proof of ownership to order one.

So I bought a new battery (MKD35UP 580mAh) which sorted this!
All good now!
