Coupe or GC?

I've always been partial to the 850 GC, but lately the coupes have been catching my eye. Can you actually put an adult in the back?

Not if you want them to ever ride with you again.🤣🤣 Which may actually be advantageous in some instances.

An adult can sit in the back seat of a coupe.

Generally, it's best if they are on the smaller side, sub 5'-8" height if the front passengers are over 6'.

With a little front seat repositioning, I've had adults sit comfortably in the back seat of my coupe, but I prefer to use this as the reason for no additional passengers.

I cant ever imagine sitting in the back seat OR in the front seat with someone behind me in a coupe - and FWIW I think they are stunning.

If both people were on the shorter side, maybe - but I mean the much shorter side.

Rear seats in the coupe work great for the guys who say they’re 5’8” but in reality are 5’4”.

Amputee's love the back seat in these cars. Personally if you have no legs it might work. If you do ....forget it.
Little kids ...sure

I've had both a Gran Coupe and now have the coupe. You may be able to get one person in the rear on the passenger side with the front seat moved up quite a bit. Im a little under 6' tall and in my normal driving position, I cant put a finger between the back of my seat and the rear seat behind me. In my Gran Coupe, Ive fit tall people comfortably in the rear seats.

I'd feel claustrophobic and trapped in the backseat. If we were in an accident, I'd never get out.

I had a 21 GC and now a 24 C. If you have a short front passenger and/or driver then the back seats will work okay for a 5’11” max person.

For aesthetics - it's the coupe.

Nope back seat is a joke. Not sure why they put one in there in the first place. If the driver was 4' 10" then maybe the person in the back who was also 4" 10" would have some stump room er um legroom.
If you ever need to carry more than 2 buy the GC. It is a nice ride.

My only experience of a coupe was having one on loan for a couple of weeks. The rear legroom is best described as hopeless - I am just over 6’ and nobody was getting in behind me when I was driving. Maybe a couple of child seats for very young children. No way would I want to be in the back…ever. Also with the roof down I couldn’t get my golf clubs in the boot. And the air curtain thing is a phaff.

I bought a GC for the above frailties in the coupe.

If you can run to two cars a coupe along with something practical would work. I only need one and the GC ticks all my boxes.

I have had an M8 GC and now an M8 C--- one doesnt buy the C for the back seat benefits or lack of it... So if function is needed over form get the GC.

But- the C is more sporty looking and drives better over the same roads that I use daily and Ive owned both cars. The C is more nimble and lively especially in sharp turns and bends but I will say the GC with the longer wheelbase is more stable at speed and the more comfortable car on the expressways.

I could care about the back seats in the C; Ill never be back there nor will anyone I know as I didnt buy it for function.
