11/2023 OTA

Yesterday the car updated over the air to 11/2023.50 in the UK.

I was previously on software 03/2023.67 and a few changes I have noticed:

- BimmerCode changes were reset but can be recoded
- DAPP is much smoother. The car anticipates vehicles slowing down ahead much better and now I don’t feel the need to intervene and brake to stop the car
- When using auto stop start, there was sometimes a lag between the engine turning back on an the car getting into gear. This appears to have gone
- Throttle and steering appears to be a little more responsive in Comfort Mode (but could be placebo &#129315

Let me know if you find anything else different.

VP007 yeah the coding thing is so annoying! Was the first thing I did. Not noticed anything different other than my service history not showing the dealer codes any more (see pic). Has yours done this? Wondering if it’s the software upgrade or something else.

Interesting, I applied the update to my m550 last week (very similar if not the same under the skin) and couldn’t pick up on any differences but you point out about slow traffic ahead.
I’m aware of that scenario, so you’re on a motorway at a reasonable speed but the traffic ahead is stopped or very slow, I too tend to brake myself as it feels like the car won’t stop although I suspect it will albeit more suddenly

So you’re saying it takes this into account now! I will defiantly have to try that as that’s a scenario I encounter reasonably regularly

I haven’t had a chance to drive the car much since installing, but it was definitely noticeable on my local commute. I’ve not yet tried at high speeds on the motorway, so I would urge caution and still be ready to brake yourself 😅
