I think it sounds great! No need to buy a cat back exhaust! Thanks for posting

Is there any drone at highway speeds?

None whatsoever

You know I haven’t perceived the change as being too different from inside the car, but while driving slowly through an outdoor mall area, I got an unusual amount of compliments. I’m guessing that the depth of sound and light burbles bring a bit of attention to the car

Anyways, I’m happy. Best bang for Buck

My M5 got a tad quieter inside after installing the dinan xpipe.
But under overpasses and in garages I could tell it got louder outside.

I was planning on doing this same exact modification to my 2020 M8 Comp GC that i bought recently. How is the cold start with the X pipe? Seems like a nice little upgrade from stock without having to blow 5k on a whole exhuast system

Here is my prior GC with just the resonator pull albeit not an H/X but straight and then what the GC sounds like with the secondary cats deleted ...

Its louder than stock and the secondaries add even more decibels. The coupe is even louder and I have one now so its not just my thoughts watching a video but owning the car(s).

In the garage in the mornings, definitely improved much deeper bass at startup. Note, this is on an F90 M5

Based on the experience, I plan to do a Hpipe this time on my M8. Cant stand drone so no straight pipes for me
