So horrible... Manhart Performance

Hey guys!
I'm facing a concerning issue. I placed an order for a Front Spoiler for my 8 series from Manhart Performance on the 9th of May 2023. The front lip was displayed as "in stock".

Despite it being the 24th of August now (over three months later), I haven't received the product. I've already paid a substantial amount upfront of approximately $3.5k USD on the date I ordered. Throughout this period, I didn't hear from them at all (nor by email nor a phone call) and their website kept displaying the part as "in stock". My efforts to communicate via email went unanswered until I finally reached out through Instagram.

After making several attempts to contact them also by phone and sending numerous emails, I only recently received a message with an update that informed me that the part originally designated for my order was sold to another customer (and that after 3 months of waiting and no communication from them). Even after all this time, Manhart Performance is now refusing to cancel/refund my order and now insists to deliver the front lip of my order. Even tho I told them that I am on a road trip and vacation starting end this month.

Does anyone have a direct contact at Manhart or any advice on how to proceed?

Any ideas or feedback would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot!

How did you pay? If by credit card, do a chargeback.

I already phoned them and checked and they said it's only valid within 90 days without legal case. I changed 2 months ago to AMEX and canceled my old creditcard on top of that. Wasn't expecting such scenario from such company

This is the part I ordered:
https://manhart-performance.de/produ...r-bmw-g1x-8er/

I attached a screenshot of today - it's the same way the product was displayed throughout the whole time - and states the very same phrase "Nur noch 1 vorrätig" in German what translates to "Only 1 in stock" as it was when I ordered it.

Non-receipt charge backs are 120 days from the expected delivery date. You can extend that time frame up to 540 days if you can show proof that the seller was extending the delivery date

Surprising to hear about this, especially from a company like Manhart. Let us know how it goes.

Thanks everyone - the case seems to be now resolved. After more emails and another longer call they agreed to cancel and charge back my order, let's see. Meanwhile my car is getting loaded on a truck an is on it's way to Italy soon. Will post some pictures of the incredible trip around the alps and Italy in one of the mighty picture threads.

Thanks for all tips and compassion. Haven't been that stuck with a company prior that way.

I was gonna say I tried to get a hold of Manhart for maybe 4 months. Tried at least 4 times thru email.......all I heard was ghost town wind. Then they finally answered me. Scary really for a supposed company to be like that.
