I hesitate to even ask, but...how do people feel about GardX?

Car due to be delivered Sep/Oct. I would normally not go for any kind of protection on a lease car, but starting to think about ceramic coating or GardX.

Alternatively, what kind of money should I be looking at for 3rd party ceramic coating on a GC?

GuardX (and Lifeshine for that matter) are crap dealership money making scams. The products themselves aren’t terrible, but they’re applied by people who don’t know what they’re doing / don’t have the time to properly apply them.

Expect to pay about £600 for a proper ceramic, which will include a single stage polish and the proper prep beforehand. I paid £1500 for Gyeon 5 year costing, and front end PPF. Still looks amazing a year later.
