im actually proud at MB for stepping up their game with the new AMGs. they used to handle like big ass yachts but they really improved it. my sisters 04 CLK55 handles like shit, my sisters E63 is getting there (still kinda heavy), but the C63 is really improved.

i still think M cars are more track friendly and sportier but just wanted to give a to MB for stepping it up

im not biased towards any since my family has been owning both cars for a while..... its really up to your preference when it comes to these two major car companies.

ill be fair...the m3 does have superior handling and is very very good at what it does

however

the c63 does not have a locking diff like the m3 has. this is huge reason why it slides all over the place.

but for the 2009 model the 030 package will be available. Which is similar to the ZTP for the m3.

The c will have a locking diff and a tighter suspension, plus all the carbon fiber blah blah here and there. lets see how it does then

I know you are just messing around man. I've enjoyed the pics and comments you've offered about your new M3. Personally, I am in the process of trying to decide between the M3 and the C63 to replace my 335i here in a while. I am extremely impressed by both cars.

to me personally i couldnt even think of C63. it looks more of a 30+ year old guy kinda car. i hate automatic to death i cant ever buy one ever again. and the rear of it is a major turn off in comparison with the beasty mean looking front. the front is exceptionally mean looking, rear is just the opposite.

oh now that i read metak's post, my AMG cousins pay 1200-1800 every month to maintain shit that somehow isnt covered by warranty. for instance the hydraulic trunk closure gets out of synch, fixing costs 1500 and is not covered by warranty (it gets out of synch of you forget and try to close the trunk with ur hand manually ... my cousin's kids forget and do it all the time), shit like that. very expensive to own. sometimes it's worth it (if u have a porsche) but in this particular case i dont think it is

Boy you are full of stereotypes today, I am 35 + married and drive a totally impractical Mcoupe. There are plenty of of blohard M3 owners around so you shouldn't be casting stones at MB/AMG owners. For the first time EVER, I think MB/AMG division is getting serious about competing with the ///M's. As far as the back of the C63 is concerned, most better get used to the back end because that is the view they will more than likely be seeing!

Listen, I understand your hatred for AMG's of past. They were luxobarges with rockets strapped to em. They didn't handle worth a shit. They didn't have any involvement in the way they drove. However, what I'm trying to say is that this car, this C63, is different.

Just trust me on this. My username sort of held true to the whole loyalist nature when it came to M Vs. AMG. It's not so much the case anymore. If you pay attention to the news, AMG has really been stepping up their game. They have. Do yourself a favor and just give a C63 a drive. Give it a hard drive. It won't bite you in the ass unless you do something stupid. Top Gear over-inflated the handling issues a lot imo.
