Just added a carbon fiber spoiler and steering wheel trim from RW Carbon. Came out great

I just sat in the M850i during the OTA upgrade to 03/2021.50. It was interesting as throughout the process various buttons, etc. would flash, light up, etc. In fact when the start button lit up it was the first time I realized that there is actually translucent letters below the actual button. I would have thought that perhaps they were repeated "start" or something along those lines but apparently they are just gibberish but none the less a cool aesthetic.

I also finally got a decent pic of the "8" within the crystal shifter. The irony is my wife talked me into it when I was placing my order as the loaner we had for a weekend from my dealer had the crystal shifter. Originally in my mind I was putting that $600 towards either the carbon roof or B&W options. Nonetheless I now find it also a cool aesthetic for the cabin and to quote Mat Watson when he reviewed the M850i he too fell in love with the "chintzy" of the crystal shifter.

Excellent shots - I'd never noticed this before these photos - but I do love to touch my crystal shifter while rubbing my alcatera head liner...

Wasn't 100% thrilled with the bronze wheels on the white car when I first got them mounted... but $10 worth of vinyl did wonders. I have a few more pieces coming in to try to get a better match.

Thank you man! I love it that's forsure. Truth be told I think Dravit is the best color you could choose on an 8... my buddy has that color and the shades in different lighting is just unbelievable, it's hard to match

Yeah seems like a love/hate with Dravit across chassis. Once I saw it in person it was a quick decision. Surprisingly I haven't seen one on the road and have only come across 2 8 series in the wild and one of them was a crash

My only recommendation is if you live somewhere with terrible roads, stick with 19's.

The M-Sport 19" alloys look pretty good to my eyes and will save you some of the headaches that come with larger rims. I had them on a loaner 840 GC and they rode nice for runflats.

Thanks for the advice. I had very low profile wide tires on a previous M3 convertible and it was a nightmare here on California freeways. Just too many potholes. Now if I still lived in Germany it would be a different story.
