1200 Mile Service!!!!

Well was really excited about it as I am waiting to install some parts but found out an extra service bulletin listed and car will have to stay a night at the least. Hopefully get the car back before the weekend

Schedule of work

-replace transmission harness - common issue and guess my car snuck off the lot before the stop sale
-break in service
-thruster washer/ anti roll bar- not sure what this is but it was listed

Ah and just proves that Dravit Grey is a stunner with chameleon like characteristics depending on the lighting. In this case it looks much darker.

Only visible change is launch control? Full power was available from the get-go, correct?

Just played with bimmercode for the lighting and disabled the horn honk when the car is on for my X3M. Not too difficult to do.

Is it advisable to wait until the first service for coding? Did it right away in my F10 M5 and F85 X5M.

My assumption is that they do a software update when the car is in and override the coding.
That’s why I am waiting.
