Still in between.

At 5.01m the 6 Gran Coupé was 11cm or slightly over 4in longer than the 6 Coupé. The 8 Coupé is 5cm or 2in shorter than the 6 Coupé, however the 8 Coupé's ridiculous rear seats might certainly require a larger extension for the 8 Gran Coupé over the 8 Coupé than the 6 Gran Coupé has over the 6 Coupé, so the 8 Gran Coupé will probably end up as long as the 6 Gran Coupé, around the 5m or 197in mark.

The 5 is 4.94m or 194in. The SWB 7 is 5.10m or 201in, the LWB 7 is 5.24m or 206in.

i like it, though i still think BMW has way too many models and engine configurations.

I miss BMW circa 1995

Proportions of the 8GC looks like a boat compared to the sleek coupé.

As the 8 is heavily 5 series based I think that the wheelbase in the 8 will be the same as the standard length 5. This is 2975mm and the 8 coupe has a 2822mm wheelbase. As the front and rear bumpers will be the same the length should work out to be 5004mm

I preferred the 6er GC's Hofmeister, that was more sleek.

Will probably be the same as the coupe's...

Which would be VERY disappointing for such an expensive sedan. The A7, CLS, AMG GT, and Panamera all have more special interior aesthetics.

Also, I found out how to make an i8 look good - crop the pic so that three-quarters of the car from the top is cut off

Exactly !

Well, I know how I feel about it; I don`t like at all. I real Hofmeister kink would make te car look sleeker and less like a muscle car IMHO

Yet another distinctive BMW characteristic gone.
