What kind of discounts on new M8's are people getting currently?

I have seen Leasehackr with 8-9% off......

Wondering if anyone has gotten more?

Triple net is 9% (invoice is 6%) and there are dealers that are easily willing to cut the discounts further. The Verts are not selling all too well and carry a heavy (ier) msrp so thats a good angle to attack.

The curse of the 8 But the MF's are no longer low so the days of the cheap leases with a huge cut net cap and lower MF's are dead. Now its just a nicely priced car with a higher MF which still be attractive to some since BMW doesnt have an MRM like Porsche but you will be stuck with it

Looking at a Gran Coupe for sure.....getting rid of my GT. Do you know what they are doing right now in terms of MSD? I know they lowered how much MSD's would take off the base rate a couple years ago but I thought I saw an email recently that said they raised that value back up again (I assume due to interest rates going way up).

Max is now 7 MSDs and the net gain at 7 is .00042 or about 1% in retail APR. MSD's are rounded to the next 50 dollar increment.

I dont MSD-but then again I dont lease much either unless its a blowout special. I do think the rates have come down a little to .00165. So you could dump a fat 7 MSD and get the buyrate (if they dont markup) to .00123 or 2.95% APR.

Half of my friends or more got cars from Dan (most are M8)
I got an X5 from him for my wife
The difficult part is to get in touch with him because he is busy and he only responds after few text emails... but once you do get in touch the whole process is 20 min from signing to getting the car and the numbers are the one u see on the calculator
You go sign and take the keys
It is much easier then to deal with a dealer

I got my M8 through Dan. Great guy, but yea, can be busy and hard to get a hold of at times.

UK discounts are really good if you have a good relationship with your dealer. I've seen a quote with just over £30k discount. Customer Retention and all that.

Its just a percentage of msrp as a bare balls M8 wont go for 21k off ...

I can get you 40k of this lot dweller --- I actually like red on the coupe but the red guts kills it...

Yeah, I can't do that much red inside and out.

Is this amount common on these?

I’ve been playing with the idea of ordering an M8 convertible and this type of discount makes it a much more attractive proposition.

Who in their right mind orders red exterior and Sakhir interior? Sakhir goes great with the greys, white, blues and black. WTF? Colorblind or needs a lesson on the color palette wheel.

See you're here in Scottsdale as well. No dealer here in the valley will discount on an order. Has to be a lot dweller. Had my wife's X5 in for service at BMW North Scottsdale and when picking it up as always I go say "hi" to my CA who I bought the X5 and M850i from.

Asked about discounts on orders and that's zippo. Only way they discount if it's been sitting on the lot. But at least unlike Chapman who did ADMs they never have. If you strongly negotiate (I wasn't serious but rather curious) if you can swing 4% off MSRP on an order you'd have yourself a deal.

The lease brokers mostly deal with cars on the ground vs an order. If you can find something you like them they may be able to get you a good discount but $21K is questionable and likely 21% off MSRP.

This is helpful information thanks. I also bought from BMW north Scottsdale.

I’m not completely averse to taking an available model that’s on the lot since there isn’t much option variability with this car. Just have to wait for the right color to show up. (Have been thinking an IOMG convertible with trauma, or Brooklyn on sakhir)

Was in your shoes back in late 2019 when ordering my 2020 M850i. Could have got a ridiculous discount on a 2019 as BMW deluged the market with them and hundreds still on the lots. However, nothing to my spec plus colors were primarily white, a light blue (forget the name) or saphire black all with mostly black interiors. No B&W audio which is an absolute must.

Ended up ordering at a 6% discount off MSRP as BMW limited allocations on the 2020s due to the 2019 fiasco. Same scenario for the 2020 M8s as so many on the lots they didn't even offer a 2021 here in the US.

Love IOMG and Taruma (in my wife's X5 with mineral white exterior as she only does white You might want to consider Midrand Beige though as a better match for IOMG but you can't go wrong with either. Brooklyn on Sakhir is gorgeous so another winner. I ended up with Tanzanite Blue on Fiona Red and everyone drops their jaw when they see the interior.

Back to the B&W even if you're not even a music buff the esthetics it brings to the cabin is well worth the cost of entry. If a music buff just flat out phenomenal plus the esthetics. 👍
