The car is matte black which already gets it attention….I just don’t think that spoiler fits with this car. I would have gotten the OEM spoiler. The lines of the car just don’t work with that spoiler as mentioned previously. Very few cars pull a big spoiler off….the AMG GT is one with the fixed wing. That being said, a lot of people think that car is ugly, too.

I think that might be one of the only ones that really does work with the M8 and the body lines.

I like it overall. Blends into the black pretty well imo. I agree as it's the nicest one for the M8 I've seen. Almost subtle....almost. Close to subtle.
I agree that it matches the lines of the car nicely. WAY better than the others I've seen. I think it looks good on your car! Good pick. I bet others buy one as well. My only issue is the drilling of the trunk lid. A serious commitment. |

Thanks
Thanks guys. I like it from certain angles and others I’m not so sure about. I’m going to give it some time to grow on me. I have a carbon fiber front lip coming that I think will even out the cars silhouette once it’s installed.

You're right definitely certain angles make it look well suited mainly the back angle.

Not my cup of tea but overall I think it works nicely. Not too tall and overlly aggressive. Enjoy the drive. 👍

Going out on a limb here. When I first started reading this thread I was like, nooooooo, what is he doing? This is going to look terrible. I love the stock lines on the 8 series. By the time i kept looking at the pictures and kept an open mind I decided I do like it. The clincher for me was seeing it all out together with the mat (frozen) black finish. The car isn't an 840 or an 850 but a true M8. Those owners get to be a little more aggressive. In the end I think it's still tasteful and not over the top.
But please, stop there and leave the car alone . . . |
