New Spoiler. Thoughts?

I don’t think it looks bad. It could work in some situations. It’s probably not my first choice, but if you love the looks, then rock it and enjoy it. One thing I learned in life is everyone thinks so differently from one another. And it feels good to have other people like what we like, but at the end of the day, if you look at the car and like the wing, don’t think twice about it.

^^ This. Although this one is as low profile as they come, spoilers with space under them, which I call a "handle", is my most disliked feature of any car - Mercedes 190 Evo, McLaren Senna, you name it.

It looks very agressive on the matte M8. I like it.

I wouldn't have put it on an 8 series though, bit too "not sure what to insert here" for my tastes

He was showing it temporarily on his (gloss) and the matte cars were random pics.

I think the spoiler looks too aggressive for the car. Just something seems off about it and I am usually all for spoilers. I think you can make it better by adding a front lip, side skirts and an aggressive diffuser and then it might all tie-in nicely but as of right now as a stand-alone thing I am not too keen on the looks. Just my personal opinion of course.

IMO it the nicest one I've seen for the M8. Drilling into the trunk lid is a big commitment for me though. That unit can't be taped on permanently. I get that. What a hazard that would be if it flew off.
I like how low it sits. It seems to hug the car better than others I've seen.
A few more pics would be helpful.
Maxton seems to be the only company offering stuff for the 8 series at reasonable prices.
Are you going with the stock Maxton finish or do you intend to paint it.
One more Q. Is it specific for the M8?

I painted it the same color as the car. Sapphire Metallic Black. It’s not specific to the M8, it’s meant for the 850 but the trunks are exactly the same size.

It looks good. It may look a bit tilted forward, but overall do it!
I hate the ones that look like a park bench bolted on.
